Gabby L Reviews: Chobani Giveaway

This giveaway is being hosted by Gabby Lynn Reviews.
Any questions about the following should be directed to gabbylynnob@gmail.com

Chobani is a Greek Yogurt company that is local to me! Chobani was founded on the belief that people have great taste, and should be given great options. In 2005 Chobani began to make high-quality, great tasting Greek yogurt, made with all natural ingredients. Chobani has grown from a company of 5 employees to more than 2,000. They also started off using just a truck of milk a day, to now using over four million pounds pounds of milk per day!

Because Chobani yogurt is made from all natural ingredients it contains no preservatives or artificial flavors. That means it is made with real fruit instead of just fruit flavor! The yogurt includes 5 live and active cultures, 3 of which are probiotics. Chobani yogurt is gelatin free, it also does not contain any other animal-based thickeners.

Each year Chobani donates 10% if their profits to a variety of causes locally and worldwide. They call this program the Shepherd's Gift Foundation. Most people think of a shepherd as someone who herds sheep, however in Mediterranean culture, shepherds are known for their generosity. They would give gifts to the less fortunate without asking for anything in return. When all shepherd join together it can make a real difference in the world!

Chobani recently offered to send some free yogurt in exchange for an honest review. I am super excited about this opportunity because they are a local company who truly give back to the community. You can spot their trucks at many large local events and fundraisers. I think that it is great that this local business went from just a small company, to now having their products sold world wide!

I received 5 different flavors of Chobani Champions Tubes, their yogurt that comes in a convenient tube case, and a variety of their Flips flavors.

 Chobani Flip

I receive a large variety of the Flip flavors to try. Many of the Flip's contain a familiar flavor with a fun twist. These are great for people who have a couple minutes to enjoy a yummy cup of yogurt.

Key Lime Crumble:

Key Lime Crumble is my absolute favorite flavor, and that seems to be the case for everyone I have talked to about this flavor. It is absolutely amazing. I'm even willing to say that I would eat this over a Key lime pie ANY DAY! Words can not express how good these were! The yogurt is Key Lime flavored and the crumble is made from graham crackers and white chocolate chip chunks.  This flavor is 170 calories and has 11 grams of protein. I wish I could send this flavor to every one in the world, it is so good!
Ingredients:
Lowfat Yogurt (Cultured Pasteurized Nonfat Milk, Cream, Live and Active Cultures: S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, Bifidus and L. Casei), Evaporated Cane Juice, Wheat Flour, Sugar, Brown Sugar, Soybean Oil, Key Lime Puree, Cocoa Butter, Whole Wheat Flour, Key Lime Juice Concentrate, Milk, Key Lime Peel, Honey, Nonfat Dry Milk, Natural Flavors, Salt, Cinnamon, Fruit Juice Concentrate (For Color), Turmeric (For Color).

Vanilla Golden Crunch:

Vanilla Golden Crunch is another great flavor that I was able to get a photo of. The Vanilla Golden Crunch Flip makes a great addition to your breakfast. It is light and simple. My boyfriend is a huge fan of Vanilla yogurt so I let him eat this one after trying it. We both really liked it. The yogurt is Vanilla flavored and it comes with some type of "corn flake" cereal. It added a pretty cool crunch to an otherwise creamy treat. This flavor comes in at 150 calories and 12 grams of protein.
Ingredients
Nonfat Yogurt (Cultured Pasteurized Nonfat Milk, Live and Active Cultures: S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, Bifidus and L. Casei), Oats, Evaporated Cane Juice, Milled Corn, Wildflower Honey, Sugar, Canola Oil, Pecans, Salt, Barley Malt, Vanilla Extract, Locust Bean Gum, Butter.

Honey Bee Nana

The last flavor that I was able to get a photo of was Honey Bee Nana. The yogurt is honey flavored and the "flip" part is made from bananas. This flavor was pretty interesting. I don't think I would buy it every time I got yogurt, but I would get it once in a while. I think a great alternative to this would be a banana yogurt with a peanut butter syrup in the flip compartment. This Flip is 150 calories and has 12 grams of protein.
Ingredients
Lowfat Yogurt (Cultured Pasteurized Nonfat Milk, Cream, Live and Active Cultures: S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, Bifidus and L. Casei), Bananas, Evaporated Cane Juice, Clover Honey, Pectin, Locust Bean Gum, Natural Flavors, Turmeric (For Color).

Flavors not photographed:
Blueberry Power:
I love blueberry yogurt. This flavor is pretty good (then again, most of them are!). The Flip compartment for this flavor contains Chia Seeds, Hemp Seeds, and Walnuts. I recently read that they will be removing the hemp seeds due to some Air Force regulation. I think the seeds and nuts in this give it a unique flavor. I would (and plan on) buying this in the future. This has 190 calories and 13g of protein.
Ingredients
Nonfat Yogurt (Cultured Pasteurized Nonfat Milk, Live and Active Cultures: S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, Bifidus and L. Casei), Blueberries, Walnuts, Evaporated Cane Juice, Hulled Hemp Seeds, Whole Chia Seeds, Pectin, Locust Bean Gum, Natural Flavors.

Strawberry Sunrise:
Strawberry Sunrise was great! It is another one of my favorites. The yogurt is strawberry flavored, and the flips compartment contains Honey Oats. This flavor has 160 calories and 11 grams of protein.
Ingredients
Nonfat Yogurt (Cultured Pasteurized Nonfat Milk, Live and Active Cultures: S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, Bifidus and L. Casei), Oats, Strawberries, Evaporated Cane Juice, Wildflower Honey, Canola Oil, Pectin, Locust Bean Gum, Natural Flavors, Fruit and Vegetable Juice Concentrate (For Color).

Raspberry Choco Fix:
I found Raspberry Chco to be both good and bad. I love raspberry and I hate chocolate candy. The yogurt was vanilla with chocolate chunks and the flip part was a raspberry sauce. This product would have been amazing if it had raspberry yogurt with chocolate chunks in the flip part. I gave this one to my boyfriend, who will eat just about anything. This has 150 calories and 10 grams of protein.
Ingredients
Lowfat Yogurt (Cultured Pasteurized Nonfat Milk, Cream, Live and Active Cultures: S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, Bifidus and L. Casei), Raspberries, Evaporated Cane Juice, Chocolate Splits (Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Sugar), Natural Flavors, Pectin, Locust Bean Gum, Fruit and Vegetable Juice Concentrate (For Color).

I have not yet eaten the rest of the flavors, so I can not comment on the tastes of them. For more information on flavors and ingredients please visit their product page.

Chobani Champions Tubes

Chobani Champions Tubes are great for people who love yogurt but may not have a minute to sit down and enjoy it! They are made for kids, but also are great for adults. My boyfriend and I don't have kids, so we ate them all up ourselves! The yogurt comes in a convenient tube that you can bring with you. No spoon is required to eat it! If you can eat a popsicle, you can eat a Chobani Tube! They can be eaten out of the freezer, or frozen then put into a lunch pale to thaw out by lunch time. I personally love them frozen! It's like ice cream, but better! The tubes themselves have these cute little puzzles on them. Each tube has a different one. See if you can solve the ones below!

Rockin' Blueberry

Rockin' Blueberry was great flavor! I really like it frozen, but for the sake of the review I chose to take a photo of one that I did not freeze. This flavor is really good either way. Rockin' Blueberry has 70 calories and 5 grams of protein.
Ingredients:
Cultured Pasteurized Nonfat Milk, Cream, Evaporated Cane Juice, Blueberries, Pectin, Natural Flavors, Locust Bean Gum, Fruit and Vegetable Juice Concentrate (For Color), Vitamin D3. Contains Live and Active Cultures: S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, Bifidus and L. Casei.

Swirlin' Strawberry Banana

Swirlin' Strawberry Banana is another flavor that is pretty versatile  I used a tube from this flavor to make a smoothie! The flavor is also really good on its own. To make a smoothie I used some frozen fruit that I had in the freezer, one tube of Swirlin' Strawberry Banana yogurt, a splash of milk, and a cup or two of water. I didn't really measure anything, I kind of just threw a little of this and that and hoped for the best. It came out amazing! It was really flavorful, you could taste subtle hint of banana. The Swirlin' Strawberry Banana flavor has 70 calories and has 5 grams of protein.

I don't have any photos of the rest, but you get the idea. I think my favorite flavor out of all of the tubes was the Flyin' Dragon Fruit flavor. It was also my boyfriend's favorite flavor. All of the tubes are 70 calories and has 5 grams of protein.

Overall I am very pleased with the Chobani products that I received. Each flip or tube is made with quality ingredients that you can feel good about eating. They have a huge variety of products, there is a little something for everyone! I recommend Chobani Yogurt to anyone looking for a great tasting yogurt by a company who cares about the consumer.
